How do I transition to Maw&Paw?
When you switch to Maw & Paw, your dog is transitioning to a more nutrient-packed, protein-rich diet. (In other words, their digestive system may need time to adapt.) To support a healthy gut and maximize the benefits of our food, follow this transition plan over the next 10 days.
How long is the food good for?
How long does it take to defrost?
To thaw, place your pack in the refrigerator overnight for 12 hours, depending on its size. If you need to speed things up, you can run the pack under cold water. Once thawed, each pack stays fresh in the fridge for up to four days.
Help, I left the food out. Is it bad?
The food will be good up to 1 hour at room temperature.
Should I cook the food?
Nope. The food is delivered gently cooked! Just thaw and serve.
My dog is being picky.
Use a topper. Our food is already infused with delicious bone broth meant for picky eaters, but you can also pour some on top of their food! This works most of the time.
Build Appetite: Take your dog for a walk before mealtime and avoid giving treats throughout the day, so they’re ready to eat when it’s time.
Timing: Set the bowl out for 20-30 minutes. If your dog doesn’t finish within that window, refrigerate the remaining food until the next mealtime.
